Today is National Popcorn Day so we wanted to share our favorite popcorn recipes with you. Popcorn is great so many ways with butter and or salt and even the traditional way just simply air-popped. Here our some of our favorite ways to make your popcorn gourmet!

Birthday Cake Popcorn

What you need:
6 cups freshly popped popcorn

1½ cups white chocolate chips

1 cup cake mix (yellow or white)

¼ cup sprinkles

Directions:

Step 1:
Make 6 cups of air-popped popcorn (no salt or butter).

Step 2:

Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until fully melted.
*Tip: Stir every 45 seconds.*

Step 3:
Stir in a cup of cake mix to the melted white chocolate.

Step 4:

On a tray or baking sheet lined with wax paper spread out the popcorn.

Step 5:

Pour the melted white chocolate and cake batter over the popcorn and add in sprinkles.
*Tip: You can use any sprinkles however rainbow sprinkles give it a great fun color*

Step 6:

Allow this to sit about 15- 20 minutes or until harden. Once harden serve and enjoy!

Sweet and Salty

What you need:
6 cups freshly popped popcorn

1/2 cups chocolate chips

2 cup M&Ms

2 cups pretzels

Directions:

Step 1:
Make 6 cups of air-popped popcorn (salt and butter to your liking).

Step 2:

Mix in the M&Ms and pretzels to the popcorn.

Step 3:
Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until fully melted.
*Tip: Stir every 45 seconds.*

Step 4:

On a tray or baking sheet lined with wax paper spread out the popcorn.

Step 5:

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn.

Step 6:

Allow this to sit about 15- 20 minutes or until harden. Once harden serve and enjoy!

Carmel Corn

What you need:

6 cups freshly popped popcorn
1/2 cup butter (sweet cream salted)

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 tsp. vanilla

2 tsp. water

1/4 tsp. baking soda

Directions:

Step 1:
Make 6 cups of air-popped popcorn (no salt or butter).

Step 2:

In large saucepan melt butter.

Step 3:
Stir brown sugar into the melted butter and than bring to a boil.

Step 4:

Once it is at a boil let cook for 3-4 minutes.
*Tip: Do not stir while cooking.*

Step 5:

Add in the vanilla, water and baking soda and let it cook for 1-2 more minutes, than remove from heat.

Step 6:

On a tray or baking sheet lined with wax paper spread out the popcorn.

Step 7:

Evenly drizzle the mixture over the popcorn.

Step 8:

Allow this to sit about 15- 20 minutes or until harden. Once harden serve and enjoy!
